Re: VHIs
No.
England all the way
I will give Scotland a chance when it comes to the JHI though..
Enjoy the weekend everyone. Normally I'd be disappointed to miss a VHI in Scotland but, given this year's areas, not so much this time.

Don't forget you need photo-ID to get into the barracks.

Re: VHIs
Great job hosting by Edinburgh Southern, East Lothian and members of other Scottish clubs. (I was spectating under the guise of assisting the England manager.) The warm weather on Saturday saw large numbers of the runners enjoy a visit to North Berwick after the relays.
Results are on the Edinburgh Southern website: https://www.esoc.org.uk/results
Scores ENG-SCO-WAL-IRE.
Relays: 130-90-50-40
Individual: 153-136-69-63
Curiously, an Interlopers Newsletter from 2008
https://www.interlopers.org.uk/uploads/ ... T-0812.pdf
mentions:
* that year's VHI, which Scotland won
* the wood for this year's relays "Binning Wood is great: small and perfectly formed. Lovely woodland in rural East Lothian, with a ride network designed on the same plan as the major boulevards in Paris."

Binning Wood was lovely back in the 90s. The area we used to prepare for races in England... Unfortunately the advance of the rhododedrons hasn't been kind to it.
