Yeah - this perhaps one of the unforeseen complications of bringing the 6 days campsite into mainstream campsite as opposed to a field in the middle of nowhere.
The camping was quite expensive too comparatively speaking although I know of at least one group of students who got around this by sending one student down to register their tent of multiple students...
Personally I was planning to camp with the family but when I figured out it was actually more expensive to camp for the orienteering than it was if you booked through the Comrie croft website (20% discount for a full week) I gave up and just travelled up each day.
