Women's courses looking a little on the long side. Good early run from Jo in Heat 2.

Looks like 5 out of 6 GBR runners qualified for the finals.

Re: WOC 2019
Just caught up on the replay of the tracking.
Some good running by the Brits. Meg and Cat moving as quick as anyone and qualified comfortably despite some small mistakes. Eliminate those little errors and they may well be in contention come the Final. Very comfortable qualification for Jo.
Ralph right up there as well until one small mistake and is definitely a contender. Pete also comfortably qualified. Bad luck Matt, just missing out on qualification by about 30 seconds.
Concentrating on work tomorrow could be an issue...

Intriguingly, somebody has managed to put a protest in about tomorrow's Long before the start list has even been published:
WOC Facebook page wrote:Announcement concerning starting times on the long-distance: Starting times are unfortunately a bit delayed awaiting the outcome of a jury meeting. We will get back to it shortly.

Anyone else having trouble with the tracking - mine 1/2 loads and then suggests "a web page is slowing down your browser" and freezes - neither option offered "wait" or "stop it" unfreezes it

Re: WOC 2019
Tracking is working fine for me. GG leading the course at the halfway point (albeit with some class runners still to start). Has just caught his 3 minute man at 11.
Do not poke the badger, particularly with a spoon.

Not loading at all on my ancient browser here at work. Stuck with live results
How come there's no splitting measures this year (butterflies, etc)?
Has Fosser gone off too fast??

Fosser certainly flying along; 4 1/2 minutes up on GG's time at the halfway split. GG still 2nd at that point though just now.

Re: WOC 2019
Issue is probably the extra ports that need to be open - which probably won't happen behind a site firewall.
I watched the TV coverage instead - fairly good until ... it stopped ... and now it is payTV ... they show the first hour or so for free only.

... or not
Although it failed for me (each time in different ways) on Firefox, IE and Edge.
It seems to be working on Chrome.
