Apologies if I'm poking a dead dog (only came back into the sport in 2015 after a long time away), but what happened to the British Relay League?
The last mention I can find of it in here is in 2013, but I'm aware that some people still count scores (on an unofficial basis).
The womens UK League Trophy has recently re-emerged in a trophy cabinet at Edinburgh University. Anyone know where the mens trophy is?
Is there any interest in re-establishing the league, using (say) the JK, the British, the Scottish and the Harvester, as well as the BMSR counting in both mens and womens competitions?

Re: British Relay League
Essentially, I stopped maintaining the scores because nobody seemed to be paying much attention and the website broke. It took over two years for anyone else to notice.
I'd be very happy to hand over the rules, spreadsheets, historic results etc if someone wants to take it on, but it really needs someone who can invest a bit of time and energy into drumming up some interest. Particularly in the women's class, the number of clubs who actually managed to field premier relay teams at a full set of three counting events seemed to be ever decreasing, meaning (like the M/W21 UKOL classes) it became a bit of an attendance prize.
Unfortunately I fear the gradual decline of the Harvester (probably a subject for a separate thread) won't make it any easier.

Re: British Relay League
If anyone wanted to reinvigorate it, then i’d be more than happy to host the results on a page on http://www.ukeliteoleague.org.uk/. As Scott says, it really needs (a) someone to coordinate it (plan events, publicise, drum up support, score results, prize giving etc.) and (b) enough relay events and teams to make it worthwhile.

Re: British Relay League
having spoken with a few people regarding the British Relay League, I would be prepared to take on the organisation.
Very happy to have results on the UK Elite League website.
