For example, here's my route today from the South Wales Mountain Trial overlaid over the Harvey's map from 2013 OMM and the orienteering map of the Storey Arms.
It is a cheap form of routegadget which you can use to quickly compare routes after a race before the official routegadget has been uploaded.

Make a new bookmark in your browser and for the URL copy and paste the following javascript snippet.
