No link to entry details which isn't particularly helpful!

Hoping to get it sorted today - strange the things you overlook when you're too close to the event!

Jon,
We're planning on bringing our motorhome (for a weekend without the kids). Do I need to let someone "officially" know??
Cheers

You'll park in the village hall carpark - so thats a benefit to you... Not sure of other 2 events (worth contacting organisers), though Sunday has parking at Aboyne Community Centre/Academy so there should be space there for a large truck

4th February (tomorrow) is last date for cheap entries to the British Night Champs (the best area you'll run on this year).

And coincidently today is the last date for cheap entries to the British Champs.
(the best open limestone area you'll run on in Yorkshire this year ).

Anyone want to share a hire car from Aberdeen airport? My flights are Sat 13.45 and Sun 18.20, but thinking of hiring 15.30 -> 15.30 ish to save a day's hire charge. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
To oblivion and beyond....

If you can get a bus to Banchory (or even better Aboyne) then I'm sure I can pick you up Buzz.

Bus from airport to Aberdeen centre then bus out (from same depot) to Deeside. Deeside buses (201 or 202) are pretty regular.

Re: British Nights Champs, Muir of Dinnet
Has anyone had any trouble getting through airport security with CREE headtorch battery packs? Looking at the rules I'm guessing that mine would exceed the 100Wh limit as I have a 6x8.4v pack and a spare...

According to the UK civil aviation authority you can fly with quite large batteries but you would have to work out the Watt hour rating.

to calculate

I have certainly flown with 2 bike light batteries each inside a plastic zip bag with the Wh calculation marked on the outside in pen. They were 6.8Amp h and 14.8 v. They have to go in your hand luggage and the terminals isolated to prevent short circuits.
