Brown course numbers
I realise yesterday's event at Hugset Woods was only a middle distance race but is this the first time that a Brown course had more numbers finishing than any other colour?

That is what I would expect at a middle distance event with no black course.

I have run Blacks or Browns in the past to get a challenging 'Blue' or 'Short Blue'

It's because in Sheffield they're rock 'ard so everyone from W12 upwards is forced to run Brown.
Here in the South on the other hand, Brown & Black courses are considered to be for eccentrics only.
