WMOC 2019 Riga
I am planning to go to WMOC in Latvia in 2019. Flying from Manchester it seems there is no direct flight but I have heard Ryanair may release schedules of direct flights from Manchester to Riga in due course. Does anyone have any information regarding direct flights from Manchester or another airport located in the North of UK? Otherwise it looks like travel from Stansted may be an option. Thank you for any help.

Wizzair fly from Doncaster to Riga.... but I don't think the summer schedules are out yet. Alternatively fly to Vilnius or Tallinn & get Lux Express bus to Riga.... about a 3 hour trip from both.
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

Re: WMOC 2019 Riga
I've flown to Riga several times in recent years and, starting from South Wales, it's a pain to get there via a direct flight. Gatwick offered the best options for me in the end.
A quick Google search shows the following direct flights from the UK to Riga:-
London Stansted (Ryanair)
London Luton (Wizz Air)
London Gatwick (BA, Air Baltic)
Nottingham (Ryanair)
Manchester (Ryanair)
Doncaster (Wizz Air)
Leeds (Ryanair)
Glasgow (Ryanair)
Not sure about summer 2019 schedules for any of the above however. But the North of England does seem indecently well served!

Ryanair is a bit of a gamble at the moment isnt it? A bit like booking your flights with Ladbrokes.
