Interesting that after the Sprint Scotland Races two weeks ago Alice put on her AP log. "Much needed reminder that if I just read my map & concentrate then I don’t actually need to do anything fancy to be competitive." Congratulations, just the place to do it!

Good runs by all the GB athletes, and especially Alice - stay tuned to On The Red Line for some video interviews (though you'll have to excuse Hector's interviewer skills )
It is currently absolutely pouring it down here - wet cobbles + lots of tourists may make for a few bowling alleys for the men
Peter is off 14:03 UK time, Chris 14:19, and KJ 14:29

...and that start kite/last control mess just cost Tim Robertson the gold medal.

And great run by Tim Robertson.
Was the start kite removed for the later starters? Doesn't seem quite fair.

No, the start kite was still there. Robertson, having originally gone correctly to the last control, then got confused by the extra kite a couple of metres away. I reckon the hesitation plus lost speed could easily have cost him 1.2 seconds...

Kris will be disappointed. Good luck to all in the Relay tomorrow.

Great run by Alice. Am I right Kris lost 22 sec at 16 to drop from 3rd to 11th ( those split formats hurt my brain!). And yes that seems unnecessarily complicated for the last control/ start kite situation. Good to see Tim Robertson on the podium though.

The person I feel for most is Yannick. He’s been trying for so long, and gets so close every time. Tim is really young and surely will feel much more positive than negative.
What about the person (coach?) who showed Maja Alm the last control? Good thing she had 17 secs to spare!

Yes - the GPS is a little wonky in that area, but it looks like he was caught out the the temporary barrier north-east of the control.

Yeah, Kris lost time going down that dead-end. He also lost time at the passage through the house, where (as the rumour going round says) he went down the steps and into someone's kitchen by mistake!
Tim mentioned the last control/start flag thing in the press conference, but be just brushed it off as something lots of others did - obviously I don't think he's going to be too disappointed with a silver medal.
