Oh dear, looks to be a bit of a tough day for GBR runners in Middle Final. Matt best placing so far with a lot of runners still to go out. Two Disq for some reason for Fiona and Alastair?

Looking at the GPS for Fiona and Simona my guess is that they haven't followed the full taped route on the arena run-through. Everybody else takes a line further south into the white forest.

Yes, all the British DSQs and Simona’s are from not going through the run through. I would assume any other DSQs are as well but I don’t know them for sure. A real shame that . Must have been a slightly funny set up at the arena for that to be possible?

Yep - apparently tapes not clear from the spectator control so some protests may occur...
Shame about the DSQs but I can't imagine either DQ'd GB juniors being too pleased with their runs regardless. Simona could have clinched a podium place but it's disputable.
Hearing of a very tricky set of races, if no one was clean yesterday then I'm not sure sure what to say of today. But a fun variation from the norm!
Two new winners as some legend guessed this morning... Congrats to a Sweden 1 2 3 in the Men's and a home win for Csilla in the Women's. Nice also to see Sanna Fast getting a medal after being unfortunate to follow a tracked route from the B-Final diverting from penultimate final control in last year's Middle Final.
Back to some fast and furious terrain for the Relays tomorrow - this normally suits our teams so let's see what can happen!

Some rapid courses by the looks of things - Women's First Leg - that are on the short side if anything. Based off the previous days, there could be some huge dramas in the gaffled sections. Good luck GB!

Girls doing well. Fiona at the head of the second pack at end of her leg, after the going to the furthest gaffle on control 1. Grace has managed to catch the first "group" on navigation and being the first to successfully fight through the thicket to 6!

Chloe's 12, appears to be difficult to see for her and several before her.

No gaffles left and Chloe's in 5th has Simona in sight, whose navigation has been wayward today.

Ans Simona's made a mistake, yet again. Two controls left, 5th possible.
