SYO's Pippa Dakin is rowing in the Cambridge reserve boat at the Boat Race today.
GB junior international Pippa took up rowing in her first year at Cambridge after a knee injury interrupted her running training and has made remarkable progress in just 18 months - training with the GB U23 squad and forcing her way into a very experienced Cambridge team.
Does anyone know any other international orienteers who have competed at this level in a none running sport?
The reserve race is scheduled for 4.46 and will hopefully be streamed live on BBC. Look out for Pippa in the bow.

Re: The Boat Race
I believe Ali Crocker (JOK and USA) went to a Junior World Rowing Champs for the USA.
