The central problem is that there is no money. Anyone who thinks the government will, or even should, pay for a bunch of middle class folk to enjoy a minority sport is kidding themself. And since BOF has structured itself as the conduit for money which no longer exists, hoping or expecting a solution from BOF seems naive.
You might, perhaps, maybe, pack an AGM and force them to raise levies and reinstate funding. That would piss a lot of people/regions off and get overturned at the next AGM.
