Anyone not heading to the Caddihoe Chase this weekend might want to consider a trip to Sheffield on Sunday. Oli has planned some great courses and it's a particularly good event for kids as White and Yellow are within the Cemetery and Orange also crosses no roads.

Or alternatively get some sprint practice in ahead of the national champs at the end of the month.

Re: Sheffield Urban Race this Sunday (3rd)
Thanks to SYO for a really great event today. Ian Cooper's courses and Oli Johnson's controlling provided me with an urban challenge that I hadn't experienced for a while. I've been getting bored running long dead legs through housing estates with little route choice but here we were faced with clusters of controls in quite contrasting areas, not least the cemetery! I did the Green course and still can't work out the best route choice on some legs ...

Yes, thanks SYO.
I've got to admit that I quite enjoyed it despite not being the greatest fan of urban races.
I think it was Oli Johnson planning and Tim Tett controlling though.

I thought it was as well but when I thanked Tim he said it was Oli and Ian seemed to be doing things from which I assumed he was planner - and I've just seen Ian ran anyway.
Oops ... my mistake.

Well, Routegadget is up so you can see how several other people ran it.
Martin Ward, SYO (Chair) & SPOOK.
I'm a 1%er. Are you?
