so, who is it then?
I'm going to hazard a guess at Beech, Nicholas, Cherry and one of Findlay-Robinson/Gardner.

I have been led to believe the demographic is slightly younger than those I suggested.
But it also led to them missing the party boat (as well as getting a fine), so ouch!

It said they were a "team" that went for a beer.
Surely EUOC would have had the decency to take whisky if it was them??

Haven't the British Team had any training in how to not get caught and how to bribe a foreign police officer. There's plenty of us out there that would be more than willing to help out BOF in this area for a reasonable coaching fee

The BBC needs to be educated - it wasn't just "an orienteering competition" - it was Jukola. BOF should be contacting the BBC and explaining that it is the biggest and best orienteering event (indeed the best mass-participation event) in the world they had attended...

Getting caught is a pretty poor effort. Wouldn't have happened back in the day.
