An embarrassingly small number given the hype, I wonder what targets were set?
Good to see the usual gender imbalance reversed though.
If you break it down a bit further, the more "off beat" challenges attracted a majority of female runners, while the one that was effectively a standard score event had about a 50:50 split.

We had something like that in Berkshire a few years back, except that it was more like 3k/3k and an orange standard course. It was pretty popular, but the orienteers always seemed to win.
