BOF "Major" Fixuters List
I think it's a big daft having level A, B, and C events on the "Major Fixtures" list on the BOF website...

Re: BOF "Major" Fixuters List
I hadn't used this link before because I assumed it was just major fixtures. But it's quite useful as it filters just the ranking events, typically I use the fixtures list to find a level C + event worth driving to on a Sunday. This list is easier to use as it saves having to filter out the activities and local events.
If this page was renamed "ranking events" it would both be a more accurate description, and help to promote the ranking list, which is a good way of encouraging people to move on from activities and local events IMHO.

Also hadn't realised what this was, Sean - very useful, like you say - just wants renaming. Thanks

I've just emailed Mike Hamilton to suggest they change this. Watch this space

I'm a big fan of oevents, particularly the custom lists feature, which allows this and much more (see http://oevents.info/index.php/custom-lists).
Better still, once you have configured the list to your liking, you can bookmark the URL it builds so that you can do your customised search in one click!
And the resulting list is reasonably print friendly, so you can have a "coming events" page for your fridge magnet . Too bad the front of my fridge is currently bare due to long term injury...

The last WOC selection races in UK (Deeside 2015) wasn't even a level C, so didn't make the list.
WOC2024 Edinburgh
Test races at SprintScotland (Alloa/Falkirk) and Euromeeting (near Stirling).
