I just heard that OEvent s/w is now free so thought I'd spread the word.
Anyone know anything about it?

Re: OEvent
I don't know anyone in the UK using it. It is used quite a bit in central European areas. In the UK, Autodownload seems to be very popular but any club wanting to save annual license money, OEvent will manage your event. OrienteeringOnline.net will also manage your entries online for free too - large or small (but not take payments - bank transfers/pay on day?) and both have been written by Goran Nagy.

Re: OEvent
All the Elite Tests & Test Races for WOC 99 used OEvent.... so it's been around a good few years. Also lots of NEDS & GB Squad trainings.
Much easier to use (in thoses days) than the official Emit software
