Re: jircs
They're organised by JROS (the Regional Squads) so not part of British Orienteering's Talent Programme so I wouldn't expect any publicity from BO. There are, however, plans for the regions and the national squads to work more closely together in future and I understand the Performance Manager was planning to be at JIRCs this weekend as part of that process. Hopefully we're moving back to the sort of framework we had when JIRCs was originally conceived.
One thing that I'd like to see coming back is getting the local juniors to plan and organise the weekend. I seem to remember some awesome courses from a young Neil Marston at the inaugural event.
Anyone know if today's results have been posted anywhere?

Re: jircs
Whats the scoring system? - seems to be mightily biased against the girls - 556 compared to boys 812 points in total. [edit - boys total points 825 - so even more biased]

Re: jircs
I believe that the team results for the individual day don't include the points for the W18s. That would explain the large difference between the total for the girls and the total for the boys. There were fewer girls than boys, but it wasn't that different.

Sorry, team results now updated - just used a previous years spreadsheet and didn't notice the missing teams.
