Sherborne Town Race
Short, but oh so technical. If anybody had a clean run I'd be amazed. Excellent planning, by Simon Branford, which really kept you on your toes. Many thanks for the challenge!

Routegadget is now up http://www.wim.routegadget.co.uk/rg2/#54
Fully endorse Tatty's comments about Simon's planning.
What with that and WSX's Poole event yesterday, we've had a good weekend of urban racing.

Re: Sherborne Town Race
Without opening another thread, I wanted to also mention the NGOC urban event that took place at Ross on Wye yesterday. It was a great little area with some climb to factor in with route choice. There was loads of route choice and for quite a while I kept arriving at controls at the same time as some one else but from a completely different direction.
There is so much choice now for urban events that it can be hard to read what I missed out on but after running at quite a few events over the last few years I have come to the conclusion that one factor that does make for an interesting race is a large linear uncrossable feature (river at Ross on Wye, railway at Lichfield)
Thanks to planner Joe and the NGOC team for a very enjoyable run out.
