Re: Europeans
Live results back on-line, but Scott Fraser's clock is still ticking. Did he start? (is it top 17 to qualify as per yesterday?)

Re: Europeans
Assuming Conor Short is not re-instated an excellent result from first year senior Peter Bray - 17th in heat 2 and taking some reasonable scalps.

Re: Europeans
It look likes good runs from Cat(5th), Tessa(7th) and GG(8th). Claire must have been worried but held 15th and as Neil says, Peter did just enough. Sorry for Hector (20th) and Ann (22nd). I presume Scott dns and isn't still on the way to the first radio control.
Bring on the Sprints tomorrow!

From https://twitter.com/EOC2014 : "Looks like no more news today and that we will have to wait until tomorrow for further updates from the organisers.
". Should that not be

Re: Europeans
Scott started but jacked as he didn't feel so great. When I told him to focus on the Sprint he said he might not start that. So we will see.
Lots of green and spikey terrain meant many scratched runners and the download table was quite a bloody mess! Cat was particularly cut up. However, you could avoid the green quite a bit and take the paths a lot. It was quite an interesting day for route choices but still relatively straight forward and should have suited the British runners. The sun stayed behind clouds keeping things cool.
Three people (Emil Wingstedt, Matthias Karlsson and a Dane I believe) went round all the controls this morning before the race to check all the controls were in the right place. And they seemed to be.
I am sure Peter Bray will love the 23km Long Final!
It has to be less green and less hilly I think!?

I cannot access the competition web site at the moment as it says there is problems with the site's bandwith. Hope it is cured soon.

... and on the IOF site there is confirmation of the unofficial news about the Men's Middle Final
for the sake of fairness, all men from all three qualification heats will be allowed to run the final on Monday

It seems that both Men and Women all have the option to run the final.

Re: Europeans
There were only 3 men when I loaded the page about an hour and a half ago, perhaps it was a tech issue
