The Brits have the next largest contingent after the Italians and are up there in several of the classes. Day 1 was a fast and furious park race begun just before dusk in the parkland of Villa Borghese. All courses had several butterfly loops which resulted in exciting racing and much dodging of Italians on their National Holiday.
Tomorrow is the big one, planned by madmike! We begin at the Colisseum and courses take in the Trevi Fountain, the Forum, the Spanish Steps, the Panthenon and the Piazza Navona! Elbows out and much scuzi I think!
