The Dolgellau Dish is the trophy for the winners of whichever competition is held on the first day of SHI. This should be the Individual but this year, as unfortunately in many years of late, this has been the relay.

England didn't win SHIs 2013

Should it have been "Who is the Dolgellau Dish"?
Gross is 144.

According to the 2006 SHI rules the Dolgellau Dish is awarded to the team with the most points in the SHI individual.
But by 2013, I suspect the Quite Interesting answer is, "nobody knows"

According to the 2006 rules, England won the 2013 SHI!
According to the latest rules the Dolgellau Dish is awarded to the winner of whatever race takes place on the first day. That is what has been agreed, although England and Scotland have yet to swap trophies...
If Gross wants to revert to the old rules it'll save us the hassle of swapping trophies.

I would rather that people chopping and changing trophy awards spoke to the person donating the trophy before acting and showed some respect.....

Very good of you to donate the trophy Gross, but surely you can't expect everyone who's ever donated a trophy to be consulted whenever they are awarded for something slightly different to that originally intended?
Anyway, I assume you donated it back in the days when England won every year as a consolation prize for the Scots. Surely you're not now complaining that's it's being used as a consolation prize for the English?

Re: England win SHIs 2013
Just need two more trophys donated for this year.
1) Team with the best individual performance on M21
2) Team with the best individual performance on W21
Then everyone is happy.
The important thing is it happened, with a strong turnout, and some fun in the mist.
(and hopefully a speedy recovery from those who ended up in A&E)

So it was a "who" not a "what" question after all...

Nah, the important thing is its happening next year, with and even stronger turn out, and even more fun in the sunshine*. It might even be on the telly...
