If SLOW and SN could get together and do some kind of sharing that would be good. There was scope for an epic 'down into the punchbowl or round the top' leg on my course yesterday.... if the punchbowl bit was on the map of course.

An enjoyable event with good planning and certainly a different challenge to normal in the South.

I wouldn't quite join in with others nominating it as "area of the year" - it's good but not that good and certainly no Craig a Barns etc.

However we're in the South so in combination with the Punchbowl it could certainly be used for a British Long. There's bound to be an epic route choice in there somewhere.

I know parking's a mare, but bussing should be doable from the other side - Longmoor has great parking, indoor facilities and is about 10km away...and you could hold the relay there the next day.
