Blatent plug for the London ParkRace series that starts tomorrow at Danson Park, Bexley.

After talk of making things attractive to younger orienteers, all these events are within 1km of a train station and all have a post event pub for food/socialising. Wednesday's pub is right in the middle of the park right by the start/finish. The building is very grand, but it has to be said, a bit more impressive than the food.

This year the website is a facebook website. Interesting to see if it helps promotion, but work has blocked it so I can't see it. http://www.parkrace.org.

This is a bit of a faux-pas IMO, you won't be the only one having such an issue. Also need to get the e-mail signup on there as for some it would be a far more useful way of keeping up to date. And I don't know if it is a temp thing (or just me) but if you're not on facebook you can't see the upcoming events (although you can see individual ones).

Good to see so many people make it right to the edge of London tonight. The sunset over the lake was rather nice
