Re: Tio Mila 2012
Talking of commentary, everyone listening got a bit of a giggle and a good idea of the absolute mayhem occuring at one of the common controls about 50 mins into the first leg of the men's race. The forest speaker did a good job of describing the flying punches (fists), the destroyed control and the runners having to wait to get anywhere near the SI units as in his words "200 teams piled into the control together". Don't think anybody had imagined that the pack would be so large and still together that far into the race but hey, s**t happens. Hopefully someone has recorded that bit of commentary as it could well be a classic in future years.

Yeah, that control was carnage. There were only 2 SI units from what I could see, and I think one of them had been ripped off of the trestle.
We weren't expecting to still be in a pack by then, but the first 45 minutes had very little gaffling (like the whole relay) and only a couple of actually technical controls. So what people though would be a split up 1st leg turned into a monster train.
