As previously mentioned on another thread ShUOC are once again aiming to raise a large amount of money for charity. The main aim is to beat the Guinness world record for the fastest two person pantomime costume but other members are running as themselves.
Our chosen charities are Unicef and Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Sadly a good friend of many of our members passed away from Lymphoma while at university last year.
If you have facebook please like this page: https://www.facebook.com/worldrecordcamelshuoc
If you would like to donate money please visit the justgiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/teams/shuoc
There you can choose which charity you would like your money to go to or split your money between the two. We understand that we have not yet completed the challenge and people may wish to wait to see if we can actually do it.

Re: ShUOC World Record Attempt for Charity
My friend ran the Göteborgs varvet half marathon last year in pantomine costume with one of his mates. He managed to clock 1.34.03, which I think is an amazing time, especially as he's never run faster than 1.27 for the half running normally! What is the world record?
check out his result and photo prove!

Best of luck with the challenge and the fund raising

2.09 is the current record. We are aiming for around the time your friend did. If the weather holds up.

For those folk out there who were thinking I'd like to support this but I can barely use the computer well enough to get on Nopesport, do not fear!
You can now use your mobile phone to donate to either of our Charities:
Text "UCAM81" to 70070 to give £1 to Unicef and/or text "LCAM81" to 70070 to give £1 to Leukaemia and Lymphoma research
