Ross Mclennan (FVO) 2:40:50
Any other orienteers?
Generally have no time for / interest in celebrity culture but 2:54 for a W38 is bit impressive...

Todd Oates 2:40:08.
For the first half of the race Todd, Mike, Ross and Paul Coulridge were all in a group together, just behind Ed.

Were the lads from SHUOC the pantomime camel they showed on the highlights? We couldn't tell who they were as the close up when they came out of their costume didn't show. Ralph?

Re: London
The fastest 'orienteer' was actually a woman. Isabellah Andersson ran 2.29, which is a poor run for her as she has a pb of 2.23. She started orienteering before running, and is originally from Kenya. She's married to our former coach at IFK Göteborg, Lars Andersson - former Swedish team orienteer.
Ben Roberts run is a real success story, and proves with a serious amount of dedication and discipline its possible to get back in decent shape. Nice one, gives us all hope!

The guy cuddling Nell McAndrew at the Finish is one of my Teviotdale Harriers clubmates. A medal AND a cuddle - no wonder he was smiling !
