Re: Team GB Olympics Kit
I never ever thought I'd say this about Victoria Pendleton but, well, that photo is just funny! Or if I was in the British team

Agree the jackets have a "sack tied in the middle" look to them due to the silly belt. I don't mind the colours, but then I prefer blue to red. Agree the turquoise tracksters look as though he left his official trousers on the bus.
The kit is nowhere near as bad as the logo or mascots though. Paddington bear has just won a competition. Why couldn't he be our mascot. He even wears blue and red so is already in GB kit

Because he's Peruvian and quite probably an illegal immigrant? (storyline calls him a stowaway)
Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

When I first saw it, I wondered why she was wearing the Judo kit!

Agree. She has the expression of someone up for a fight as well.
I'm sure the blokes just think she looks sultry though..

Me neither. but I do agree with frog about Paddington Bear!

In other words, a perfect representative for modern Britain!
Some of the design work for these games has been a complete joke - the total disaster of a logo, the almost equally bad mascots, that rust red tower, and now this anaemic looking kit. At least some of the other architecture appears good - the velodrome looks a dream.

The kit fits in with the logo, the stadium architecture and the mascots. A quality product with one thing missing.
Other sports are available.

Your statement about Mark C not being from UK is a strange one. IoM is in not in GB nor "The UK of GB and NI" nor even the EU. Like other Crown Dependencies it is represented internationally (IOC, UN, etc) by UK though
Your comments about the GB kit being unflattering are unfounded. It is well known that putting on a GB tracksuit adds a "few" pounds:
