Re: Newborough: British Trail-Orienteering Championships
Well done to JK for organising a super sunny weekend and well done to Ian Ditchfield who I believe retained his British Champs title!
I think there were more foreigners than Brits there which was a bit of a shame...!

... one of whom would have been British champion under the old eligibility rules (she was champion in 2009).

Not quite, Alan Gartside LVO was reigning champion, although I did tie for the title with JK (John Kewley) in in 2010. Blatant plug: I shall not be defending the title as I shall be planning next year, when the event will revert to it's normal practice of sitting alongside the British long & relay championships - first May Bank holiday 2013, revisiting the 2005 (foot-o) World Cup areas.

The Trail-O results are linked from http://pre-ole.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/jeg-har-na-fatt-tilsendt-resultatene.html - not sure if these are official or not...

Re: Newborough: British Trail-Orienteering Championships
I've just learnt that my Club mate (and the man who will be forever cursed for getting me into this sport) John Crosby won the paralympic class and is therefore also a British Champ.
Well Done John!
Well Done John!
Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

Shame this wasn't designated earlier...would have made siting controls more fun

Rumbled!
Did it not make people wonder why we got so many Finns and Swedes at our event, and why Trail-Orienteers have a liking of control sites like "between the boulders" or "between the knolls"

Jac: I think the results on Ole-Johan's site were the latest ones, they should also be appearing on the ERYRI site at some point.

Only time I ran there was boc 95 and I lost more time than I care to remember. So it would be nice to go back one day.
