BUCS this weekend....
It not so much a case of who is going to win but by how much EUOC are going to dominate. Any predictions for the order of an almost inevitable EUOC 1-2-3 in both the men's and women's classes. Will Mharky finally show his true potential? Will anyone get within 10 mins of Hollie?

I've never heard of this drink "Jethro" - is it a newfangled alkopop or is it a strong real ale made from old sheep and cattle?

You know an older orienteer sometimes disappears from the sport........Jethro is the result.
This should now be in Banter
This should now be in Banter
Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

Maybe that is why the Edinburgh team is quite strong. What's their average age? 35?

Was the last Sheffield men's team to win BUSA relays not Northrop, Crane and Johnson back in 06? Even all those years ago, that was a young team if ever there was one...

I believe it was Pinker, Llewellyn, Rocke, '08.

I stand corrected, at least 2/3rds weren't pensionable

Also, from over here
It is really good to see decent sized teams from Leeds, Durham and Bristol this weekend, along with those from Imperial College London, University of East Anglia and the University of York. Would agree that some cheaper relay entries might entice them along to a few more team events and might make the sport more appealing...

M21 - 56; M20 - 33 = 89 (2011 entry = 56)
W21 - 37; W20 - 25 = 62 (2011 entry = 38)
Obviously venues etc may make some difference (last year = Edinburgh, this year = Lakes), and numbers are way down from the boom years, but some cause for hope.
