I've uploaded the Filey results so the league tables are now up-to-date.
For some reason the W18s were running with the Women Super-vets rather than W Open, so they haven't scored any points. Sorry girls. The results file had Martin Ward disqualified although the published results don't. If someone from EBOR knows that an amendment is required, perhaps they could re-upload the relevant categories.

I disqualified myself after looking carefully at the map on Saturday evening.

The league tables now include the Lossiemouth results (thanks Eddie).
However, IanD informs me that he missed a control so doesn't deserve his allocated 96 MSV points, so keep your eyes open for an update.
As my instructions to organisers don't seem to be getting through, I've posted them as a PDF in a new 'Organisers' section on the home page.

The league tables now include results from Guildford, Sheffield and Lincoln.
We had a few issues with the new upload facility (which will now take a standard Splitsbrowser / Winsplits CSV file, provided it includes the Urban League categories in the right place). Some people failed to score because they were missing BOF numbers or were listed with the wrong age classes. I've fixed some; if you spot any more then please contact either the relevant race organisers or me directly.

Re: Nopesport Urban League 2011
It's the final at Penrith on Saturday; here's how things stand.
Junior Men: Michael Adams can't be caught. Jake Field could overtake William Parkinson for second.
Junior Women: Karen Maxwell has completed two more races than anyone else and is uncatchable. Any two of six could fill 2nd and 3rd, although Louise Adams, Amy Kimberley and Megan Harrison have done an extra race and have a big advantage.
Open Men: nobody's done six races and three points cover the top four. A win by any of Duncan Grassie, Mark Thomson, Liam Harrington or Dan Findlay-Robinson would net a brick, although the next ten are all in with a chance.
Open Women: Jayne Sales has a useful 19-point lead over Helen Smith, but both could be overtaken by a good sixth score from Charlotte Ward or Kirstin Maxwell.
Veteran Men: Martin Ward wins from John Embrey and Andy Kelly.
Veteran Women: third place or better will ensure Delia Kingsbury of a win, but if she stumbles then Carolyn Moon could take the title.
Superveteran Men: Ian Ditchfield needs a win to stand a chance of overtaking Pete Jones.
Superveteran Women: Sue Stevens has a perfect 600 points, with six wins from seven starts, and is a clear winner. Glenys Ferguson is nearly safe in second place, although she's vulnerable to a top-six placing from Jean Payne.

I went to seven events but did not compete at Skipton due to injury. However my Sheffield result is not up. I did finish honest!
I'd rather be orienteering in a Scottish Forest.

Mark - You did score points at Sheffield, but because MO and MV classes both ran course A, you've scored points in MV. I'm guessing you wanted to be scored as MO, but:
NUL Rules wrote:2.At any given race, a competitor may score in only one class. Unless specified otherwise beforehand, he (or she) will score in the lowest class for which he is eligible; for example, if W Vet and W Supervet share a course, a W55 would score only as a W Supervet. A competitor who runs a course above that designated for his class will score in the lowest class for which he is eligible, e.g. an M55 running up on a course designated for M Open, W Open and M Veteran would score only as M Veteran.
and that's the way Roger's database has allocated you the points.

What is the procedure for getting an urban sprint race into Nopesport Urban League? (I'm thinking about Banchory on 4th June 2012).

Number 1 recommendation is to have a gate that is neither open nor closed

Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

Re: Nopesport Urban League 2011
Thats what we did for Erskine - although since it had recently been used for the WOC selection race some of them already knew about the area. I think thats a great idea - but you may find that they make a decision on geographical spread too - might depend how many Scottish events already in.
(if you dont get in, hang onto that thought if the proposal to make a Scottish Urban League goes through)
