lesson one in how to kill off juniors and young adults from the sport -
"after the fun had at such events as breadalbane 97 and highland 99, no campsite shall tolerate fun of any kind at a multi day event. the continued suggestion of a seperate youth campsite shall be ignored completely. this will lead to young people behaving themselves completely, not drinking alcohol and continuing to love orienteering holidays. honest."

to be fair six days 05 will have a youth campsite seperate.
sadly the whole campsite / event centre is seperate from the rest of the world.
ie our pub is meant to be a marquee whoop whoop.
or else you can jump aboard [nope] multi day orienteering tours...

If the rule's as vague as jene suggests, all you need do is to get a group of people together, one (or more) of whom is over 18 and book a pitch together.
If only there was some kind of "forum" where young orienteers across the country could get in contact with each other...

I do not know where this rumour came from but the event organiser has conformed to me that there is no restriction on under 18's. It has never even been discussed.
