Well done pollsters, the predicted results was spot on. OD won comfortably, with ShUOC 2nd after spending the first 5 legs in a close battle with SYO, who finished 3rd.
FVO got 4th, keeping them in the hunt for the UKRL, and CLYDE would have been well up, if they'd had more than half a team.

interesting results in the women's, none of the teams with high placings in uk relay league appeared to go. from a quick look at the results the women's race ended up like this:
1. SO
2. SLOW
3. OD
4. LOK
5. HH
6. HOC
not a great turnout, and no-one north of the midlands!

The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.

It would have been good if more teams from north of the midlands had competed! Last weekend we (SO) made an epic 10 hour return journey to the Compass Sport Cup final to an area that didn't really warrant the trek. Where were AIRE, NOC et al this weekend? This was a good competition, well organised on a quaility area, where was the women's opposition?
It seems we from the south are expected to travel, but when we put on an event on one else can put in the effort to travel.

Still Harvester related but on a different slant. Congratulations to the organisers of the Harvester for the superb display of intermediate splits from radio controls. The screens may not have been quite Tio-Mila size but they were adequate for the size of event and the information was just as timely.

Cough, cough - am I stating the obvious Trebor by saying that by then you could actually see who was on the run in and so didn't need the big screen - I thought it was brilliant - and as the person who came last on their course in the slowest team of the night I think that is prbably saying something

yes, just echoing other peoples comments, the 3 radio controls made a huge difference as you could see what was going on every 10-20minutes or so, whereas previously you have no clue how your team is doing until they arrive at the finish! a big thanks to michael napier for co-ordinating that side of things and also to mole valley for a superb event.
