INT CS CUP etc
Any idea of when details of this event (following on from Park World Tour) might be available please as it's only a month away.

Re: INT CS CUP etc
CSC details (Devilla SoSOL event on September 12th) have already been sent to club secretaries weeks ago and entries are open. I've tried to locate the mail, without success.
The Organiser has asked for names to be submitted to him for the start list by late August.

....which is fine if you are a member of a club that intends to enter the CSC heat... but what about the rest of us? The event has 3 separate listings in the BOF fixtures list...but none give any details of how to enter. Mind you as all three say "On Day Entry: Yes" I guess we should just turn up when we feel like it

Re: INT CS CUP etc
I'm not involved in this event (I'm already doing three others that weekend
), but here's my best guess...
Park World Tour Weekend - Junior Home International Weekend (Closed Event) - Individual Open Classic incorporating SoSOL 1 & the Scottish CompassSport Cup Heat
If you're doing CSC or JHI your club or country will enter you. Failing which you're doing SOSOL 1 , so
http://www.rstrain.ndtilda.co.uk/sosol.htm
Events in the SoSOL are designed for competitors of all ages and abilities and there will normally be seven courses: white, yellow, orange, light green, green, blue and brown, ranging from short and easy to fairly long and easy, from short and hard to long and hard. There may also be a long, easy course; contact the club for details
They are generally held on Sunday mornings with starts from 11:00 to 12:30 and there is generally no need to pre-enter.

Re: INT CS CUP etc
Our secretary said the email he was sent said there may not be EOD for folk not doing the CSC. We're not managing to get a team for the CSC which is daft as it's so near, but alot of folk prefer to run a shorter course than the CSC allocated course and we have no intention of travelling to S England to be trounced if we get through anyway.
Some way of reserving a map for those definitely EODing would be handy, and I thought would be useful for Interlopers.

We were coming after PWT and were making a weekend of it. A long way to travel just for PWT and was hoping for details to see about walks etc with the kids. I won't be very happy if there are no entries for non CS Cup folk

it is a SoSOL, which ALWAYS have entry on the day. the fact that the CSC is being tacked on the side is irrelevant, you will get a run in (what I remember as) a wonderful scottish forest.

Re: INT CS CUP etc
I was also looking for details last night. 3 of us also doing PWT and were going to make a weekend of it. Hope there will be enough maps ,as there will probably be more entries than usual. 11.00 is a late start time, may be better at 10.30.

Prelim details attached as supplied by organiser.
I have e mailed and asked if we can pre enter the sosol/open event, but had no response as yet.
The flier states that eod is available while the maps last, but does not state a start time.

Re: INT CS CUP etc
This is sounding a bit like the Gullane SoSol, which ran out of maps because they'd done the normal number, rather than lots of extras because of the BNC the night before.
The PWT should attract lots of people - let's hope they'll be enough SoSol maps for extra EODs...

Re: INT CS CUP etc
I cannot deny that we ran out of maps at Gullane, but we had printed twice as many as for a normal SoSOL. We were horrified that we still underestimated, but delighted that so many people came.
I hope INT have a better crystal ball than we did

Re: INT CS CUP etc
Any idea when final details will be up? The preliminary ones don't tell you much and as I'm on a tight schedule, need to plan timings so things like distance to start etc would be helpful.
