Which (non O) sporting event shown on TV do people enjoy watching most? I can happily largely ignore my TV most of the year and have just watched snippets of the world cup and Wimbledon.
Now the Tour de France has started I'll be glued to the TV most evenings, especially as ITV4 has extended their coverage. Shame it finishes when I'm in Sweden.
Watching the Nocturne criterium at the Grassmarket last night (and doing a rubbish time in the 500m Rollerplatz sprint) has really got me in the mood).

Absolutely adore the ice-skating and I also love a nice bit of golf and then of course there's my really guilty secret - darts (well everyone just looks like they're having such fun watching - and now the smoking ban means you can breathe - I really fancy a hot ticket to Lakeside one day)

Ski jumping in the winter, especially the four hills.
Tour de France in July.
Motorsport, especially Le Mans, F1 and Bathurst 1000 (Ozzie endurance race between Ford and Holden V8 supercars).
Oh, and Rugby Union, especially when my Nephew-in-Law (Bath and England) is playing.

About 4 times a year, Channel 4, about 8am on Sunday, adventure racing is covered, but usually Rat Races and corporate events, rather than more interesting events. World Championships 2010 in Portugal and Patagonia Race in 2009 and 2010 were both exciting events, well filmed (even if one commentary was dire), with surprise British winners.
Apart from that, enjoy watching some Olympics, Winter Olympics and Commonwealth Games because of variety of sports.
