and don't forget to turn your mike off after talking to the common people.
For every winner, there are dozens of losers. Odds are you're one of them.

Yes that was a gaff. The Tories have been luckier so far - maybe their presentation people are better:

Maybe we should just stick to discussing important stuff like dog ownership?
Actually, one of our local election candidates does seem to be basing her campaign mainly on the call for reintroducing weekly bin collections. Even more important stuff

I thought it could have been much worse for poor old GB. At least he didn't swear or describe her physical appearance. He got lucky.
And all those journo's never slag off the people they've just interviewed when the mike's off.
I sympathise with anyone who has to work with the public, even the PM. Especially when I am the public.

Guaranteed method to win the general election?
"I'd like to put it to the debate that my right honorable should just f**k right off"
Game. Set. Match.

didn't the dog lover's party stand in N Devon against Jeremy Thorpe in the 70s after his alleged lover's dog got shot or am I hallucinating again?
Edit: from google: At the election, journalist Auberon Waugh tried to stand as leader of the Dog Lovers' Party, but this was ruled facetious. - Mrs H will be relieved

Yes, apparently this year in North Devon "The Big Sheep" children's play farm is putting up a candidate to protest at too many foreign breeds of animals being imported into the country searching for greener grass. Apparently it's going to be the biggoat party.

Now we have the LibDems and the Tories working together what other unlikely alliances can we expect?
Mrs H and the Kennel Club working on a right to roam off lead bill for dogs?
RJ and AWK on the new event structure?
