as a matter of fact, i did, and on the 5.5 mile road race, and on the 4 mile fell race. i don't think i managed it on the 13mile pub crawl.

i must admit i didn't even know about the manx mountain marathon until we were driving across to peel and i enquired what the runners were doing!
and gross, i've heard of this 'triple 100' - can you vouch for it, i was rather dubious about the 3rd 100 (i.e. not the miles or the pints)
i'm contemplating going back next year for a go at the mountain marathon, any chance you'll be there ifor? you can then join me on the pub crawl back across the island. it might be painful, but the alcohol soon numbs that. you may also get the opportunity to witness one of our dossers attempting to break the record for a standing-on-your head pint (only 25 seconds this year) or the yard (44 seconds - marginally quicker than the efforts witnessed at busa in sheffield last year!)

I did the Manx MM once when the JK was down south and very expensive must be 10 years plus back. It's not a real MM just a very long fell race but a nice route. The year I did it there wasn't a cloud in the sky, so getting enough liquid down was chalenging. So long as the JK does not piss me off again I probobly want be doing it again, which it was a different time of year realy...
