May take a little while. Having been up all night sorting out all the mini-mass starts properly is probobly best done after some sleep.....

Re: Harvester Relays
Cracking weekend, cheers to BOK/SWOC for cracking events in cracking areas, and South Wales for stopping the wind as soon as I took my jumper off! Must orienteer more at 5.45am - had my best ever run ever ever, but the 4mins gained on SYO/FVO still left a little bit too much to catch on last leg
(waking up at 3am was a first - normally going to bed then!) However, can safely say we had the most interesting tent pitching going on.

Yes. I can confirm that the SI master told me the results needs some "massaging"

haha, neville and I were getting very excited as furrowed brows were seen on FVO and SYO at download, but alas we were left disappointed
is it going to be route-gadgetted? (no point looking at the clydach terrace rg - I don't have a clue where I went!)

Brilliant area brilliant courses but spoiled by the inconsiderate behaviour of the winning junior team who decided to keep everyone awake by talikng about their success in their tent from the moment the first leg returned.

Excellent weekend. The most (orienteering-related) fun I've had this year.

Re: Harvester Relays
hey hey hey - Holocite has a fair point here. What's wrong with wanting to sleep in the middle of the night?
People just don't realise how noisy chat can be in a tent at night.
I'd have got up though and told them to shut the f* up.

It's an all night relay!! people should be encouraged to talk about their runs. Stop your whining and I'd reccomend you stay away from events like jukola - where you might be woken up by "man I feel like a women" - in Finnish.

Give them a break - their first leg runner doesn't get almost beaten by 2 M60's very often these days

And certainly do not RESPECT others.
And then make sure that they are the ones who are made to feel guilty about raising the point at all.

Clydach terrace will be route gadgeted this evening when I get home from work. Do not know about the Harvester.
Brilliant weekend, great orienteering, good courses and enjoyable atmosphere.

Re: Harvester Relays
I couldn't believe reading that someone was moaning about noise at a night relay.... if you seriously want to sleep then do as the Scandi's do at Jukola etc & get yourself accommodation off site & just turn up for your run

Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

An M14 back first on the "B", no wonder they were full of themselves....
Proud Dad who was also kept awake by said juniors.
12 year old brother so tense that he threw up, hence further commotion in tent as we had to clean up at 2.30 am.
EBOR Juniors first ever win at the Harvester, absolutely great event, tricky night orienteering. M14 does 6.4Km in the dark accompanied by OD Junior to lead SYO ladies and TVOC handicap team awesome.
Tight race between OD Juniors and EBOR juniors right through to last leg, where despite errors EBOR 5th Leg runner proved to be the stronger (or more accurate) to come home first. Also pulling away from the SYO ladies.
