A note currently on the front page of the Cambridge website:

WEATHER WARNING- a final decision will be made on whether the city race can go ahead late on Thursday afternoon or early on Friday morning. Please check the website before travelling. Currently, parts of the city are unsafe for racing. This seems to be improving under the weak winter sun, but more snow is forecast for Thursday and Friday.

The current position. We are giving the event every chance to go ahead, but signs are not good.

WEATHER UPDATE Thursday Morning- There has been heavy snow in Cambridge overnight, but rain and higher temperatures are forecast for later in the day. Because of this a final decision on whether the event can go ahead has been delayed until tomorrow morning. A final decision will be posted on the website by 10 o'clock on Friday morning. At the moment, there is a very strong possibility that the race will be postponed and rearranged at a later date.
