I once wrote an article for the news letter entitled "Sleeping with the Planner" in which I construed it paid no dividends what so ever as I never did any good on any course Mr H. planned (controlled, organised, mapped or printed!)

Word has got to me that EUOC won the highly coveted "Edinburgh University Sports Club of the Year 2007-8", a title that has been a long time coming (last won back in the early 90s), but highly deserved and surely the success of last years inaugural street race was part of the reason for the award.

Indeed we did. And not only that. Hector won best fresher (2007-08) and James Tullie was awarded with an Executive Committee award for his services to the club - even more to celebrate. Both the weekend and the sports ball happened within a week - what an immense week that was! Glad everyone enjoyed the weekend - I did too! And am very much looking forward to next year
