If you are interested in getting selected for any tours as a senior get in touch with Gareth Candy and let him know you are interested.... or else you'll get nothing.
I'm not saying I agree with this policy, but just now it is there is, so play to the system - a few e-mails to Gareth will take little time and effort and will remind him you are still alive and running.

Jon, my original question was 'is there a GB Squad'. Comments on here from those 'in the know' indicated that in 2009 there was going to be no Squad.... so the below selection criteria is meaningless:

All GB squad athletes will be assumed to be available for all competitions and camps unless
they have indicated in writing otherwise.

So seems like ALL athletes have to positively make themselves available in writing? Right or wrong (in fact.... not in principle coz that's another debate:))

Congrats to Oleg Chepelin a winner at Devils Burdens relay this weekend.
Lizzie Adams is also running fast, 2nd at the Yorkshire XC champs a few weeks ago & 8th at the Northerns yesterday. I hope those two send in their availablity

This info is not secret, see link Jon posted, just send in your availability for the following things & race JK and/or British Elites (all 3 individual disciplines at both) also some more selection race in July, simple! Things to say if you are available for:

12th-17th May WOC training 1 Hungary
5th-11th June Nordics Finland inc World Cups
25th - 28th June World Cups in Oslo
15th - 20th July World Games Chinese Tapei
21st - 26th July WOC training 2 Hungary
6th - 10th Aug Euromeeting
14th - 24th Aug WOC Hungary
4th - 13th Sept WOC training Norway
24th - 27th Sept WCup Zurich

Juniors (U21) are also eligible for EYOC, JWOC & JEC. Different selection policy inc FCC final, same weekend as the British Elite Long (first weekend in May).
