and well i thought it was really good. two spectator controls. top notch assembley field complete with spectator friendly hillock. good commentary from the boys. but most importantly there were plenty of highly competitive teams. SYO got pushed all the way to the end by OD. good performances from the two university teams, the GRAMAR collective, Clyde and interlopers. hopefully this will carry on for all UK relay league races.
proper bo advert for the sport. maybe the cameras should have been there on monday as well
first race down..

definatly a great advert for the sport and it certainly would have made for good tv coverage - especially with team placings changing throughout every leg (at least in the men's relay) while it would have shown the "sport for all" aspect as well: all the elite as well as every other generation all competing at the same time.

despite not being there, i can already tell u that there was at least a video camera on hand at the relay, of which i have already watched nearly half an hour of footage, courtesy of allan. looked like a well organised, spectator friendly relay, and mens relay certainly proved a great spectacle.

i don't recall seeing ur finger, but i do remember seeing a rather classy bit of stacking by rocky just out of the gate - caught on film for everybody's amusement! and after he tried so hard to not hit the gravel...
