i pasted this over from peelies.
its from lilywhite.
discuss.
"Surely the postponement of the BRC can stimulate a debate.
Is it good enough? I don't think so. In an earlier thread on having BEOC and BOC combined I remember saying something along the lines of, "BOC/BEOC should be forced to be in May/June and if a region can't deliver that then they shouldn't have it."
Having a national champs in March was silly in the first place, and now that there's no relays it's makes the whole choice of having BOC seperate from BEOC, in the North East, in March, seem ridiculous."
is it good enough

Its absolutely rediculous!!!
Especially when they are holding another event on the sunday instead, it doesnt take much to plan a relay... oh waite, its the british, there are a million different classes, all of which need different courses....

its going to be nuts if we have a year without a national relay championships.
wonder what banter you would get from the track boys if you decided to cancel their national relay events

i think it is stupid
BUT in their defence, they are holding the event the next day on the same map, which they couldnt do for the relays, it being important and all. which is also the case for the track boys, their sport being able to be held in a carpark if worst came to worst
