I've now uploaded the results from the WOC Sprint + Middle Selection Races to ukcup.db. As usual, let me know of any errors.
Below a quick summary, based on my back-of-a-postage-stamp calculations, which may be wrong.
With only one race to go Sarah Rollins has the Women's title in the bag with a 30 point margin over Rachael Elder.
In the Men's, Scott Fraser goes into the final race with a narrow 12-point lead over Oli Johnson, with Matthew Crane only another 6 points behind. Although Oli can equal Scott on points (Oli's current lowest counter is a 51-pointer from a 3rd place) so he could improve by 9 points with a victory tomorrow), Scott's countback (7th and subsequent scores) would still be superior. Craney, on the other hand, currently has a 44-pointer counting and so could gain 16 points with a victory which, assuming Scotia can't improve his lowest counter (a 51 pointer from 3rd place), would give him the title.
In simple terms, if Craney wins at Brown Clee and Scotia is lower than 2nd, Craney takes the title. Otherwise, it'll be the wee ned who can celebrate.
No pressure, lads!
