A dark and dismal snickleway in Sommertown. Silence. A shadow flickers. Silence. The hunter stalks his prey. Windows are locked and doors bolted to keep out the ever prying fingers of the night. A chill breeze. Another flicker; a glint of metal. The deed is done. The badger is abroad. He hunts his prey.

But wait! Another dark form slips through the black night. A silky paw parts the darkness. Ripples, reaching out through time and space. The hunter is hunted. The duel has begun. Who is this who dares track the badger? It is Dave the Womble.

A bit closer than that! 8 seconds ahead in fact, with those two two mins clear......and GG won the men a minute ahead of Rob Baker, with nearly another minute to Ed Catmur in 3rd.

i'd like to corgratulate everyone on a quality event, the mass start idea gave a little edge to the "head to head racing" which finally gave me a good result in the FCC.
Cheers, and well done everyone who ran.

Ray got a lot out of it. He wanted to see why he was beaten by so much on Saturday (he didn't drop 7 mins in mistakes) and running with GG etc was a perfect lesson in running straight, not hesitating and fence hurdling (courtesy of Allan - pretty awasome apparently). I thought it pish.

Who labelled the photo? Been trying to figure it out due to names used but am stuck.
Still haven't decided if I enjoyed Sunday or ot but it did show I can keep up with the best unless it's fecking steep uphill. Those bits I need some practice on. Bext ever Uk Cup result though...whoo!
