it would appear i would have collected rather a few predictions whilst compiling that review of the final.
the general consensus from the 15 replies was:

9 for Scotia to win
6 for Chepls to win
6 for Scotia to come 2nd

a mixture of predictions for 3rd place, including Andy Llewellyn (5), Duncan Coombs (4) and Chris Mitchell (3)

and my own personal opinion, miss m and cerys to win the girls classes, mhairi winning overall. scotia and chepls to finish join 1st on both days, and mharky to win m20 and overall.
The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.
