FCC 2008
Any idea when the races will be up/picked? I'm trying to sort out entries for other things and could do with a hint - any going to be in February this year??

Re: FCC 2008
Is there a lack of interest or enthusiasm for FCC in 2009? Historical posts would give that impression

I'm interested, it just seems a lot of juniors have been scared away by the vast amounts of horrendous debate on the discussion forum.

I suspect two reasons:
1. Old fogeys can read this and why would the juniors want to post here when there are so many other ways they can keep in touch like Facebook etc.
2. The heading is right down the bottom of the Forum page so it is easy to miss posts (if there were any!!)

Attackpoint is very popular with juniors too - an excellent way for them to keep in touch with each other

Yes I'm interested too and I haven't even got a child taking part - but the FCC standings page has not been updated since Grathwaite and I can't open it at all now so i hope everyone has been able to work out if they should enter.

It's been updated - it just has a new address.

Re: FCC 2008
so how are you meant to know that- telepathy? the site I use was updated after the JK on april 10th - there's no indication it isn't live and it just gives out an error message - no instructions or re-direction. I can see i'll have to give PMG another spanking next time i see him!

Re: FCC 2008
I think the problem is that a new webpage (with a different URL) has been created each time the scores have been updated - which is fine if you go in through the FCC homepage each time, but is guaranteed to catch out anyone who's simply bookmarked the results page on an earlier visit.

Re: FCC 2008
It's not even that Scott. I have PG O pages bookmarked in my orienteering folder and it is the link off the welcome page which takes you to a seemingly current FCC page going back over several seasons which says scores updated April 10th and the link from there just displays an error which is exactly what the link you have provided above is also doing.

Re: FCC 2008
The page I linked to says "scores updated 22nd April" and has a (working) link to the current standings. Have you tried (properly) refreshing the page (Ctrl+F5)?
