Based on the weekend I'd pick:
Becca
Anne
Hollie
Tess
Duncan
Joe
John
Iain
If I were a selector I'd pick:
Becca
Anne
Jess
Tess
Duncan
Joe
Doug
John
I think 7/8 of above went last year so should have experience.
It's a great shame only 8 can go as I was impressed with the strength in depth of the results.
There's always EYOC for those that will narrowly miss out on JWOC (although is this only 18's, I don't know)
If it were 12 to go I'd add
Hazel and Hollie
Hector and Rhodri
But as Harry quite rightly said, the selectors should and will ignore the comments here!
The results bode well for future JWOCs.
Enjoy next year's FCC final: I think it's Barnscliffe
Becca
Anne
Hollie
Tess
Duncan
Joe
John

If I was a selector, based on FCC final + all known form + attitude + obvious & assumed potential I'd pick; Duncan, John, Douglas, Hector, Rhodri, Joe, Becca, Anne, Hollie & Tessa.
I'd send Hazel to EYOC, JEC and a training camp to Goteborg.
And I'd send Jess and Iain, who I believe are both top year 20s, to Euromeeting (a senior development competition) in Austria.
I said the selectors will ignore the comments on here. I didn't say they should!
It's evil us discussing the selections and I'm glad nopesport wasn't around when I was a junior and if you are a junior reading this you should ignore us all and follow your dreams

The girls I think select themselves assuming 4 as for the blokes apart from the top two, there's Rhodri, Iain, Doug John and Dave to consider bfore Hector

I certainly would agree with a lot of your comments about the strength in depth at these races.
I am aspecially please about the new talent coming through at the 18 level.
I look forward to working with some new (to me) people at EYOC and in Gothenberg.
Well done to all who raced hard and clean last weekend.

Routegadget for Saturday is here:

When Stodge gets home, I'll try & get him to put a link up direct from the Chasers site, too.
