loz, come to sheffield, ill probs be there, it looks like dave and luce will be too, it has a great o club, great night life (cardiff and bristol do too though) but lots of pies and northern accents. you just cant beat that.
Anne well done. I wish i was smart enough to go to oxford. All my offers are in, i just have to decide between newcastle, lancaster, durham and sheffield (i ruled out aber, its too far from civilization)

Decision time now... got offers from Durham n Bath(NatSci), Sheffield n Leeds (Biol). Decided against Bath, not sure about Leeds... but I'm torn between Durham n Sheffield!
Oh well, two months before I have to decided properly at least

hiya (lucy especially...), I'm at edinburgh at the moment (loving it!) and I'm studying physical geography. I have many friends who are doing Geology and Physical Geography and they seem to enjoy it! There are others coming to Edinburgh next year that I've heard of so don't worry you're not the only one!
I hope you get good enough grades and i'll see you in september!!

Rachel, Rhys told me you'd got an offer from Josephine Butler College at Durham. I'd say go for it, its a brand new college and its pretty exciting to be part of something like that. Its a very unique experience at Durham. Also NatSci at Durham is supposed to be very good, I've a few friends who are doing that and they all love it. Thats my advice, but Sheffield is a hell of a lot better for orienteering and probably sport in general...

Hey Lucy! I'm currently at Edinburgh doing 2nd year Environmental Geocience, which as pretty much the same course as G&PG, and it's awesome! Fieldtrips are a bit wet and labs seem to last forever but it's always interesting and not too hard to grasp if you've got any geography or geology or chemistry knowledge. Doing first year, or thinking about going straight into second? Hope you get in

Hey Carol. I didnt realise you were at edinburgh too. I think I'll go into first year - i could go into 2nd with my predicted grades but I would like to get more experience with the labs etc. Did you go straight into 2nd year? Lucy
