Wasn't it great!
or is that just me?
How did everyone else find it- personally, I think the organisers did a great job, especially day 2.

It was good - really enjoyed day 2 despite the climb, can't really say the same for day 1 though, I remembered it being grotty after the event was there 4 years ago, and if anything it had got worse! I just found I couldn't really run, especially up on the moor, it was too rough and I kept falling over! And the last km along the steep slope wasn't enjoyable either. But all in all, it was still a great weekend, and we were lucky with the weather yesterday - it rained during our whole journey home (which took 4 hours as opposed to 2 and a half...grrr).

yup errwood indeedy. and yes helen is right, it is, if possible even more grotty than before. Though for anyone running on saturday (i know there was one guy at least who saw me) i provided much entertainment by just being eaten by holes in the ground covered in heather pretty much every other step. which has now screwed up my knee. ah well. rest recover move on! Still loooove that more on from day 2, tis lush, hard going but still nice enough to bound through! And well done Roger... I wonder how much longer his glee can last?

well done! glad you enjoyed it. i almost wangled my way out of helping for the weekend... sneeky you see not being a home for the emails... but i got roped in to setting up the start on sunday, apologies all the teenyweeny courses who were almost swimming in the start lanes... the water level was much lower the night before! honest!

speaking of swimming liz, i once on day one fell over a tussock and was rudely engulfed in a small stream that appeared out of nowhere.
There were these old ladies just going out of a control and I could swear they were sniggering. The rudeness of the elderly community these days...
